Explaining the Quiz Bowl Dress Penalties
SkillsUSA showcases many technical and leadership contests at the local, state, and National Leadership Skills Competitions.  For the last few years, several talented teams lost points due to dress penalties.  The important question to ask oneself, when in doubt about a dress item, is:  Do I want to risk losing a point for this item?  To help illustrate how the Quiz Bowl judges score dress, please study the following information.
